There will be an opening reception on Saturday, March 22nd from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The exhibition will continue through April 6, 2008.

CURRENT EXHIBITION:
“SEEDS” AT THE UNDERGROUND GALLERY IN SANTA FE

SEEDS is a collaborative exhibit by the artists of the Underground Gallery and Strange Weeds, curated by Beverly Ashe and Abigail Schmidt. Each piece in this massive salon-style show is restricted to a 6x6 inch wood panel. SEEDS debuted last Spring with great success at the Bridge Chicago Art Fair with Strange Weeds, and appeared more recently at the Salon Mar Graff in Tesuque, New Mexico. Underground Gallery artists have now partnered with Strange Weeds artists to create a powerful grand finale for the SEEDS project.

Opening reception is on December 21st from 5:00 to 8:30 pm. The exhibition will continue through January 31st.

Diane will be showing three oil on panel paintings from the Ariel Boundaries series.

DIANE'S PAINTINGS HAVE BEEN ACQUIRED BY
THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER
ART COLLECTION

Three of Diane's major paintings have been selected by the University of New Mexico Hospital Pavilion Art Committee for the Barbara and Bill Richardson Pavilion. Established in 1991, the UNM Hospital's collection now numbers more than 1,800 pieces of art, remarkable for a public hospital and academic health center. A catalog of the collection will be published soon by UNM Press.

The Pavilion houses the state's only children's hospital and Level 1 Trauma center, as well as an adult critical care center, women's and maternity center, and private patient rooms, all of which benefit from the display of art from the hospital's collection.
